UP for Learning is excited to be an underwriter of The Atlantic Across America tour coming to Burlington on July 16th. This special evening will bring together leading voices in journalism, education, and civic dialogue for a timely conversation about some of the biggest issues shaping our communities.
Atlantic Managing Director Evan Smith (pictured above with the UP staff) will join journalists Megan Garber, Tyler Austin Harper, and Adam Harris to explore the stories behind the headlines—from culture and politics to technology and higher education. Across Vermont and New England, colleges and universities are navigating a period of significant change. Led by Adam Harris, a panel of Vermont college presidents on the front lines of this transition will examine the challenges, opportunities, and possibilities ahead for higher education.
