We strive to make our website accessible to all audiences, including those with disabilities. We have invested time and resources to ensure that upforlearning.org is easier to use and we will continue efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of our website by actively engaging in ongoing testing, development, and updates.
UP for Learning’s goal regarding accessibility and usability is to align our website with best practices and standards as defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Currently, upforlearning.org makes available the UserWay website accessibility widget that improves compliance with WCAG 2.0. Simply click the accessibility icon that appears on the top right corner of the webpage to enable the accessibility menu.
While we always strive to improve our site’s accessibility, we also understand that this is an ongoing process and despite our best efforts to make all pages and content fully accessible, there may be some content that has not yet been adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. We continue to work to identify and evaluate the most appropriate solutions to allow for unhindered use of our website and services by all audiences.
If you have questions regarding accessibility, have a disability and find any part of our site difficult to use, or you’ve encountered an issue while trying to access information on upforlearning.org, please let us know by calling 802-552-8142 or emailing [email protected].
At UP for Learning, we believe we all must play our part in uprooting and rebuilding the systems behind inequities.
For our part, we commit to continuing our work to become an inclusive, anti-racist organization and community. We commit to continuing to listen, change and grow.
