Dear UP Partners and Friends,

Thank you to the 100+ of you who registered for UP’s Annual Meeting – it was amazing to share stories of youth and adults creating a more equitable education for everyone! We heard from teams about how UP’s facilitation, strategies, tools, and ongoing coaching are used in schools to ensure all young people can pursue active roles in their learning, their lives, and their communities. Youth Program Specialists Ana Lindert-Boyes, Maisie Franke, and Isis Bandele-Asante with Executive Director Lindsey Halman served as hosts for the meeting. Watch the recording!

Addressing the needs of all learners is critical to meeting the challenges of our time, and UP is committed to helping youth make lasting, concrete changes in their educational communities. With this commitment, cost should never be a barrier. All of UP’s work and growth is only possible with generous community support; thank you for making all of this possible! Working together, we can ensure that educational equity becomes a basic human right for all young people, now and into the future.

UP extends our gratitude to the teams from Brandywine School District (DE), Harwood Union High School (VT), Montpelier High School (VT), Monument Mountain Regional High School (MA), and our five youth interns for sharing their WHY for youth-adult partnership and their HOW it has influenced them and their community.
