Montpelier High School Restorative Practices Team Retreat
The RP team will meet to continue their exploration and implementation of restorative practices at Montpelier High School.

Superintendent Ryan Hearty and Curriculum Director Toni Martindell will host monthly meetings with youth and adult members at each of the schools in the LSSU. These meetings will be facilitated in partnership with UP for Learning.
Youth and adults will engage in activities that explore topics such as community, belonging, values, leadership, anti-bias/anti-racism, community schools, and facilitation.
In their third retreat, the Restorative Practices team from Edmunds Middle School will met with the Edmunds Principal to co-design the structure of the lunch period at the school next year. They will also focus on discussing athletic policies at the school. Along the way, they will build community and play games!
In this retreat, the YFET will focus on making recommendations to the BSD administrators in order to improve communications with parents and caregivers in the district.
The Student Voice Advisory at Brandywine School District will meet to build community and work on action planning for the year.
In their final retreat of the year, the Edmunds Restorative Practices team will discuss proposed changes to the school's athletic policy with the BSD director of athletics. They will also reflect on and celebrate their work together this year!
Poultney High School will build on district-wide Restorative Practices work with UP. This year there will be four retreats focused on how to implement restorative practices in their school.
