Retreat: Burlington School District Youth and Family Engagement Team

In their first retreat of the year, the team will begin working on their goals:

• Design and facilitate a process for the youth-adult team to explore and foster the core principles of restorative practices.
• Increase a sense of engagement, belonging and voice for youth by creating a culture and practice of youth-adult partnerships for school change.
• Create opportunities for healing,  joy and community building
• Build capacity for youth leadership 
• Build a framework for connecting youth and families to school leadership in more productive and intentional ways
