Olivia Scharnberg first started her work with UP during middle school as a participant of the Cultivating Pathways to Sustainability (CPS) program (with her team, secondf rom left), and continued her involvement as an active member of the Restorative Practices team at Montpelier High School. In 2019, she became a youth intern and in 2025 transitioned into her most recent role of Youth Program Specialist. In addition to her CPS and RP involvement, Olivia was involved in Trailblazers and was an active mentor in the Youth Internship Program (YIP).
She graduated this year from Montpelier High School and was deeply involved in Youth Adult Partnership and student engagement projects, collaborating with countless youth across the state of Vermont. She will be attending UMASS Amherst. Boston University, where she intends to study social sciences.
Throughout her many years of work with UP, Olivia has had a lasting impact, continuously demonstrating immense care, passion, dedication, and growth that she will no doubt carry with her to all her future endeavors.
