The North Country Career Center Student Voice Team worked with Compass Points, the learning and leading styles activity, to build a deeper understanding of their own individual approach as well as build collaborative practices to balance all of their approaches in service to a stronger team. From there, they analyzed the data from the NCCC & NCUHS Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) Surveys to identify strengths and areas for growth. The purpose of the CLNA is to collect and analyze data to identify gaps and opportunities in CTE programs and inform plans for improvement with consultation of stakeholders. This work helped them make progress in fulfilling their mission: To understand our school culture and how we can offer a more equitable invitation, environment and experience to future and current NCCC students.
