Harwood Union Middle and High School is poised to secure $100,000 to help further deepen youth-adult partnership in the school, IF we can rally votes for them to secure the Lawrence W. O’Toole Award from the Nellie Mae Foundation.

Harwood has been a YATST school for 8 years, a Communicating School Redesign school for 2 years, and implemented both Getting to Y and Mindset, Metacognition and Motivation. They have students on their leadership team, a mandatory mid-semester feedback system sparked by YATST data, annual full school dialogue days with youth facilitators and much more. In short, their work and their story is both informative and inspiring.

Please take a minute to vote for co-principal Amy Rex. She is competing with 5 others from around New England for this funding.
