My name is Myrah Valmyr, and I am an Intern with the Vermont Restorative Approaches Collaborative (VTRAC) this Fall, working in communications and outreach to the community and potential collaborators. I am a Junior at Middlebury College studying Biology and Global Health, and in my free time, I enjoy running and reading. In my time with UP, I hope to engage with the community that Middlebury could not exist without. Further, VTRAC makes growth in an academic setting through mindful, holistic approaches possible, better shaping how students, faculty, and administrators interact with each other and show up for themselves. The nature of this work calls for constant attention and support, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to do my part.
