P2C2 Retreats

Greater Rutland County Supervisory Union

UP will work with four elementary schools in the Greater Rutland County Supervisory Union on using data to better understand their school climate and culture and take action to change the items of greatest concern. There are three retreats - this morning UP will be in Wells Village and this afternoon in Middletown Springs.

Retreat: Colchester High School

Champlain College

Social justice-oriented teams from Colchester High School will gather to continue implementing actions at their school, as well as learning about leadership and facilitation skills.

Retreat: Elmore Mountain Union Student Advisory Council

Elmore Mountain Union

Superintendent Ryan Hearty and Curriculum Director Toni Martindell will host monthly meetings with youth and adult members at each of the schools in the LSSU. These meetings will be facilitated in partnership with UP for Learning.

Retreat: Edmunds Middle School Restorative Practices Team

King Street Center

In their third retreat, the Restorative Practices team from Edmunds Middle School will met with the Edmunds Principal to co-design the structure of the lunch period at the school next year. They will also focus on discussing athletic policies at the school. Along the way, they will build community and play games!

Retreat: Burlington School District Youth and Family Engagement Team

Robert Miller Community and Recreation Center 130 Gosse Ct., Burlington, VT, United States

In this retreat, the YFET will focus on making recommendations to the BSD administrators in order to improve communications with parents and caregivers in the district.
