Yesterday, a Communicating School Redesign (CSR) team was presented at the 10th Annual Transition & Career Planning Conference sponsored by the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation(VSAC). The focus of the event was on best preparing students to be successful in their post secondary pursuits, and largely focused on both Act 77 and proficiency-based learning as the means to that end. The local news station, WCAX, covering the event interviewed the student member of the team – Alexa. She was the only high school student at the conference – out of 300 participants!
