Join us for a Lunch and Learn!
Learn more about integrating restorative practices into your school culture, for those new to and experienced in restorative approaches.
Restorative Practices employ a strengths-based approach to form stronger relationships and realize greater equity in health and education. When implemented holistically, restorative practices help develop a culture where everyone’s voice is heard and valued and relationships become the cornerstone of the community. Restorative practices work by putting the emphasis on relationships, collaborative problem solving and collective responsibility.
From 2019-2020 with preliminary funding from Vermont Agency of Education and continued in 2021-2022, a collaborative group of restorative approaches practitioners, led by, UP for Learning, and UVM formed the Vermont Restorative Approaches Collaborative (VTRAC). This webinar will introduce you to the materials produced by this grant:
– Best practices for implementation of RP in schools
– The asynchronous learning module(s) available for free to all schools
– Valuable resources for learning more about RP in schools
You will also learn more about UP for Learning and the crucial role youth-adult partnership plays in the successful integration of RP. Watch this UP video to learn more.
