Retreat: Edmunds Middle School Youth Leadership and Restorative Practices

Edmunds Middle School

During this first of four retreats, this youth/adult team will: Explore/discuss leadership qualities and styles Explore/discuss core values, and use these to establish norms and build community Begin exploring principles of restorative practice Take part in fun and games - community building!

Retreat: Colchester Middle School

Outright Vermont

In this second retreat of the year, social justice-oriented groups from Colchester Middle School will gather to continue the community actions that they decided upon in the first retreat. They will also be designing and planning the workshop they will facilitate at this year's Vermont Association of Middle Level Education Conference in March.

Retreat: Colchester High School

Champlain College

During this retreat, social justice-oriented clubs at Colchester High School will build community, learn and practice leadership skills, and have dedicated time to create action plans for their work this year.

Retreat: Poultney High School

Poultney High School

Poultney High School will build on district-wide Restorative Practices work with UP. This year there will be four retreats focused on how to implement restorative practices in their school.

Retreat: Leland & Gray Union Middle and High School

Leland and Gray Middle and High School Thetford, VT

In this third of four retreats this year, the team will come together to look at the results of a community-wide survey on respect and belonging. They will present their findings to teachers and staff at a faculty meeting after the retreat.

Retreat: Milton Middle School

Milton Town Grange

In this first retreat of the year, youth and adults at Milton Middle School will explore leadership qualities and styles, build community, identify their cole values, and begin to explore the principles of restorative practice.
