UP for Learning will plan and facilitate five half-day (3-4 hour) retreats at Cabot School to support the learning and work of a representative youth-adult team (comprising 2-4 adults and 8-12 youth – representing upper elementary- high school). UP for Learning retreats are spacious, purposeful opportunities to dive deeply into the work of the team. Retreat agendas typically include constructive, joyful, and reflective activities that focus on the core work of the team (supporting adult professional learning), team-building and leadership skills, reflection and processing, and deepening critical awareness around school and community issues. The retreats will provide a balance of individual skill-building and Youth Participatory Action Research to create sustainable change.
