Black History Month Youth Facilitation

Williston Central School youth are planning an action project to amplify youth voice and leadership in their school.  This RP and Equity team will  host a Black History Month assembly and youth-facilitated conversation for the entire 7th and 8th grades on March 10th.  The slideshow will include historical Black figures as well as contemporary Black activists fighting for justice and change. After the assembly, small groups of youth will gather with a youth facilitator to have circle conversations to process the experience and vision for a more just future.
